I recently had the honor of sponsoring a table at the American Association of University Women (AAUW) annual LIFT benefit luncheon.
This event was a great opportunity to support a worthy cause while connecting with colleagues and clients. I invited seven guests to join me for an afternoon of networking and community support.
Honoring Excellence
The highlight of the luncheon was honoring Justice Barbara Pariente. She is a former Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice with a long and distinguished career.
Many of my clients have served with her or conducted cases in front of her in the past, so it was a very meaningful moment for everyone at our table.
Building Connections
Events like these are vital for the legal and business community in Florida. Sponsoring a table allowed me to bring together a group of professionals to discuss the important work the AAUW does.
It was a great mix of high value networking and supporting the next generation of university women.
Short Reflection
The LIFT benefit luncheon was a successful event that reminded me of the importance of community involvement. It is always a pleasure to step away from the desk to support organizations that make a real difference in people’s lives.
I am proud to support the AAUW and the professionals in my network who attended. It was a great day for everyone involved.
