Family and Recovery

It has been a busy month of March involving some medical recovery and some great family time. I managed to get out and enjoy some of the best things Florida has to offer during the spring season.

From the baseball diamond to my own backyard, it has been good to stay active.

Baseball

I took my grandson to a spring training game in Jupiter, Florida.

We saw the Marlins play the Cardinals. We had a great time sitting in the stands with some popcorn and hot dogs. It started to rain so we had to leave a little early, but it was a fantastic way to spend the day together.

Garden Harvest

Back at home, the garden is starting to produce quite a bit. I am currently harvesting black raspberries from the plants I put in earlier this year.

There is nothing quite like eating something fresh that you grew yourself. It is a nice reward for the gardening work I did a few months back.

Conclusion

Between the baseball games and the garden updates, it has been a refreshing time. Even while dealing with some health issues, I have made it a point to show up for my networking groups and spend quality time with my family.

Life is about balance, and I am glad to be on the other side of my recent surgeries. I am looking forward to a fast recovery and more time in the sun.
